Iranian usually had different types of natural appetizers and snacks on their menu (nowadays it is not as it used to be). One of the most popular which I recall from my childhood was a small sandwich (named ghazi) of fresh flat bread with feta cheese and Sabzi Khordan (a combination of herbs…). In case you don’t have Sabzi Khordan, thin slices of tomato and cucumber is a good replacement.
Some people would try bread, feta cheese and grape together but I believe it’s not so tasty!
In this picture I served The Asraneh with Pita bread. Pita is not a popular bread in Iran.
