You will be delighted with this Banana Freeze that belongs to our quick easy dessert recipes.
If you want this ice cream to have a special unique flavour, you can add kahlua or maybe honey.
Garnish with your favourite toasted nut flakes (I like almond flakes) when you are about to enjoy your ice cream or to serve your family after a meal.
8 Large Bananas; ripe
2/3 cup Fine Sugar
2 cups Cream
1 cup Full Cream Milk
1 tsp Vanilla Essence
1 tsp Kahlua (optional)
Remove skin from the bananas and cut into slices. Using a food processor, beat sliced bananas into pulp. Transfer 3/4 of banana pulp into a blender and add in cream followed by milk.
Now add in sugar gradually until well dissolved. Stir in vanilla essence and kahlua. Beat well. Put banana mixture into the freezer. Freeze until it begins to thicken. Add the remaining banana pulp. Stir well and freeze again until firm.
