Bhutte ki Pakoda (Corn Pakoda)

This is a cool snack from Indian cuisine! Don’t be afraid that here are too many ingredients for the process of cooking is quite simple.


  • 250 gms (Bhutte ke dane) Corn Kernels
  • 34 green chilies
  • 1 tsp red Chili Powder
  • 2 inch Ginger Piece
  • 2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 tsp Coarinder seeds + Fennel seeds (both crushed)
  • 7 tbsp Besan
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh Coriander


First of all grind the corn kernels coarsely.

Then finely chop the green chilies and ginger, if possible make a paste.

After that take besan and add chiliginger paste, and other masalas.

Now add the corn and fresh coriander. Mix well.

Then heat oil in a kadhai.

Add 1 tsp of hot oil to the pakora batter.

Put small balls of batter into oil and deep fry on medium flame.

Serve hot with green chutney and tomato sauce.
