Blanched Asparagus with Sesame

Blanched asparagus  is served with sweet garlic sauce and sesame.


  • Asparagus,450 g
  • Soy sauce, 1 tbsp
  • Garlic chopped, ½ tsp
  • Honey, 1 tsp
  • Lime juice,1 tsp
  • Fresh ginger, chopped, 1 tsp
  • Fried sesame,2 tsp
  • Lime slices, for garnishing


Blanch asparagus in boiling water till it gets crispy but soft (2 minutes, approximately). Dry it.

Take a small bowl, pour there soy sauce, honey, garlic, lime juice and ginger.  Put into microwave oven for 2 minutes.

Lay out asparagus onto the dish for serving and pour hot sauce onto it. Sprinkle with sesame.

Garnish with lime slices.
