I’m sure you’ve tried the well-known Bounty Sweets at least once. Today you’ll get the chance to cook them at home! I must they, they do taste great, not less delicious than the ones you buy!
- Milk chocolate, 300 g
- Cream, 200 ml (20%)
- Grated coconut, 200 g
- Sugar, 85 g
- Butter, 50 g
In a bowl, mix sugar, butter and cream. Put on a low heat and constantly stirring, wait till sugar dissolves. Add grated coconut, and mix well. Pour into mold and leave in fridge till it thickens a bit (usually for 1 hour).
When the mass thickens, cut it into separate sticks. Now you need to put sticks into freezer compartment till they thicken entirely.
Cut chocolate into small pieces and melt on water bath. Now cover the coconut sticks into chocolate and put them out onto some plate spread with parchment paper. Leave in fridge till chocolate thickens.
