This cheesy French soup is a nice choice for the first course, especially if you like cheese and chicken combination.
- Chicken fillet, 400-500 g
- Melted cheese, 200 g
- Potatoes, 400 g
- Onions, 150 g
- Carrots, 180 g
- Salt, pepper, to taste
- Greens, bay leaf
Take a bowl for 3 liters capaciousness. Put there meat and pour water. When broth starts to boil, add 1 tsp salt, black ground pepper and 2-3 bay leaves. Boil 20 more minutes. Then take meat out.
Peel potatoes and dice them. Chop onions and grate carrots. Cut meat into small pieces. Add these ingredients into broth too.Boil till they are ready.
Dice melted cheese or grate it (if it’s in a shape of a bar). Add it to soup. Take off the stove.
Serve and enjoy!
Note: you may garnish your soup with dried crust.
