Chocolate Cake in Crockpot

Though I my attitude to cakes in Crockpot is rather skeptical, but the recipe I’ve come across recently surprised me so much!!!

Ingredients:

  • Flour, 2 tbsp
  • Sugar, 2 tbsp
  • Eggs, 2
  • Baking soda, 1,5 tsp
  • Cocoa powder, 6 tbsp
  • Milk, 1 cup
  • Vanilla sugar, 1 tsp
  • Sunflower oil, 1/3 cup
  • Boiled water, 1 cup
  • (1 cup = 250 ml)

    Directions:

Mix all the ingredients except boiled water (you don’t have to mix with mixer!). At the end add a cup of boiled water (it should be taken immediately from the stove). Mix everything. The pastry will become very fluid. Now pour pastry into the bowl of crockpot that should be greased with butter in advance). Bake in mode “Pastry” for 1 hour or 1 hour+20 minutes.
My cake has risen to the lid of crockpot. I have cut it into 4 crusts. You are free to use any cream you like. I have made chocolate cream (4 bars of chocolate+500 g of sour cream).
