- 3/4 cup Butter; softened
- 3/4 cup Peanut Butter
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 3 Large Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
- 2 1/4 cups All–purpose Flour
- 2 cups Rolled Oats1 bar Chocolate; cut into small pieces
Beat butter and peanut butter for a minute, then add both sugars. Beat well. Sprinkle with baking powder and beat until well–blended.
Beat in eggs (one at a time) and vanilla essence until combined. Add in flour. With a large spoon, mix in rolled oats, then add in chocolate pieces.
Using a spoon, drop the dough onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 190°C for about 10 minutes or until dough turns light brown at the edges. Remove from sheet and leave to cool.
Store chocolate cookies in airtight container at room temperature. Can keep for 2 days.
