As this cake would be made to resemble a log, decorate it with mistletoes and mini jingle bells to dress up the cake.

- 100 g Self–raising Flour
- 15 g Cocoa Powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 4 Medium Eggs
- 100 g Castor Sugar
- 3 tbsp Natural Unflavored Yoghurt
- 40 ml Water
- 60 g Melted Butter
- 1 tsp Chocolate Essence
- 200 g Whipped Cream
- 1 tbsp Icing Sugar
- 1 tsp Kahlua
Beat whipped cream with icing sugar and kahlua. Set aside for later use.
Sift flour, cocoa powder and baking powder together and set aside first.
Beat eggs with sugar until light and fluffy. Fold in sifted flour, alternating with yogurt and water. Now fold in melted butter and chocolate essence. Mix until well–blended. Pour mixture into a greased rectangular swiss roll tin and bake at 180°C for 20 minutes until cake turns golden brown.
Remove cake and spread with whipped cream and roll up into swiss roll tightly. Now spread cream over the rolled cake. To create yule log, run a fork lengthwise all over cake. Decorate as desired.
