To prepare Custard Cendol Pudding we use coconut milk and cendol strips. Such custard puddings are easy to make and you will only need to mix the ingredients together well before serving them. As for the cendol strips, you could either make your own cendol or you can buy them from your supermarkets nearby.
- 110 g Custard Powder
- 2 cups Coconut Milk; extracted from 1 coconut
- 6 tbsp Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pandan Essence
- 2/3 cup Cendol Strips
Mix custard powder with coconut milk until dissolved. Bring to boil over low heat. Then add sugar and salt and keep stirring until completely dissolved.
Turn off heat. Pour into square tin. Allow to cool for 5 minutes. Now spoon in cendol strips and distribute evenly into the custard mixture. Let cool completely and chill until set. You may enjoy this pudding dessert with melted palm sugar if you wish.
