Doogh, Iranian style

An unusual drink will give you more energy and renew your strength. Diversify your daily menu by this wonderful Iranian drink!

Ingredients:

  • Yoghurt 1 Cup
  • Water 2 cups
  • Mint 2 tbls (dried, ground)
  • Ice cube 8-10 pieces
  • Salt to taste

Cooking:

Pour yoghurt, ground mint and salt in a pitcher. Keep stirring till getting a smooth texture. Add water and ice cubes, stir and serve.

Note: If you need a bubbly or fizzy Doogh, use soda instead of water, or use an immersion blender to stir and make the Doogh. If you don’t have herb mint handy, replace it with a couple drops of Peppermint oil.
