Greek Style Lamb Burgers

If you are tired of trivial sandwiches made of ham and cheese you should try these grand Greek style burgers! They look and taste fantastic!


  • 1 slice white bread, crust removed and cubed
  • 2 Tbs. milk
  • 1 Tbs. onion powder
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 lb. ground lamb


  • Tzatziki
  • Tomatoes
  • Spinach
  • Kalmata Olives, minced
  • Whole Wheat Hamburger Buns


First of all, combine bread cubes and milk in a large bowlUse a fork for mashing bread into milk until you get a paste. Once you’ve done it, add onion powder, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and lamb. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.

Preheat grill on high heat. Form meat mixture into four patties. Place on grill and cook for a quarter of an hour turning every 5 minutes, or until juices run clear.

Serve with toppings of your choice, or the suggested toppings listed above.


Note: Tzatziki is a Greek sauce usually served with grilled meats or as a dip.
