Healthy Fruit Roll Ups

I’d never made a fruit roll up/ fruit leather before and honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I certainly wasn’t prepared for my husband’s rave review (as he is a big fast&junk food fan)! But it turned out to be a hit!

The great thing about these is that you can package them as a fruit roll up, or a fruit leather, it all depends on the way you slice it.

No artificial red dye, no fake sugars, just blended organic fruit! What can be bad about that?!
These make for a great lunchbox treat or even a midday pick me up. Simple and scrumptious, it’s what I’m all about!

Ingredients:

  • 1 mango, sliced into chunks with skin removed
  • 16 oz strawberries, hulled
  • 2 clementine oranges, peeled
  • 1 TB maple syrup (optional)

Method:

In a high speed blender, combine all of the ingredients and blend until completely smooth. Line your dehydrator trays with parchment paper and pour out some of the fruit mixture, using a spatula to evenly smooth it out, making the edges slightly thicker than the middle. Pop the trays in your dehydrator at 135 degrees for 23 hours, until the center is set.

After the fruit mixture is completely dried out, roll the parchment paper and cut into individual pieces.
