Home-made “Baisers”

Three engredients and a little bit of patience may create delicious wonders! Make sure yourself!


  • Sugar, 1 cup
  • Egg whites, 4
  • Vanilla sugar, to taste


Pour chilled egg whites into a deep bowl and start beating. Add sugar gradually (you may use ½ cup of brown sugar, then baisers will have caramel taste).

Add vanilla and go on beating till sugar dissolves entirely. The mixture must thicken.

Spread the parchment paper on the baking dish and lay out baisers with a spoon. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 120 C for an hour and a half. Here is important not to raise the temperature for the baisers not to get burnt.

Now take out baisers and let them cool a bit.
