This is a traditional Japanese soup consisting of a stock called “dashi” into which softened miso paste is mixed. Many ingredients are added depending on regional and seasonal recipes, and personal preference.
- 2/3 cup shredded carrot
- 2 Onions cut
- 2 Cabbage Leaves
- 4 tsp Oil
- 3 tbsp Miso Paste
- 2 tsp Tahina paste
- 8 cups thin stock
- 2 Spring onion
- 1 tsp Dry Mustard powder
Heat oil and add onion, carrot and cabbage.
Now add miso water, tahina paste and boil.
Boil for about 10 minutes and serve.
Garnish with spring onions and mustard powder.
