You will love these luscious Strawberry Cheese Balls! This is a super tasty strawberry dessert recipe for strawberry truffles. It’s no bake dessert recipe. Cheese Balls are deliciously filled with fresh strawberries and coated with fragrant coconut flakes and almond bits.
- 227 g Cream Cheese; at room temperature
- 4 cups Icing Sugar
- 150 g Cooking Chocolate; white
- 20 Fresh Strawberries; medium size
- 1/2 cup Toasted Dessicated Coconut
- 1/2 cup Almonds; nibbed
Melt white chocolate over a saucepan of water (low heat) and leave to cool.
Beat together cream cheese and sugar until creamy and smooth. Add in melted white chocolate and mix well. Chill for at least an hour or until set.
Cut strawberries into halves and remove center of each strawberry. Wrap the cheese mixture around each fruit. Coat one end with toasted coconut and the other with almonds. Place truffles in mini cups and chill before serving.
Makes about 15 truffles
